Building uses a Mac with Xcode and Homebrew. Running has separate device requirements; a supported chip is only the first check.

Common questions

Is nxnative a general-purpose emulator?

The upstream project builds native apps from your own game files. Follow its specific build and platform requirements.

Which iPhone or iPad does nxnative require?

The documented mobile baseline is A17 Pro or later with iOS 26+, or M1 or later with iPadOS 26+. Check the chip as well as the model name; game compatibility still needs separate evidence.

Do I need a Mac to build an iPhone app?

Yes. The documented workflow uses a Mac with Xcode and Homebrew to build an unsigned IPA. Signing and installation happen after that build.

Does a listed game guarantee compatibility on my device?

No. Check the game version, nxnative revision and reported platform. A successful build or a Mac report does not establish iPhone or iPad playability.

Where can I download games or keys?

This guide provides neither. Use your own legally obtained files and follow the upstream documentation.
